Stephen Petrone: Videographer and Photographer

About Stephen

Stephen Petrone is the main videographer, photographer, and digital team manager at Mezz Entertainment, a music management and consulting company based out of NYC. He’s worked on countless music/lyric videos, mini-documentaries, promo videos, and photoshoots and has acquired quite the reputation in the industry. Since his graduation from Emerson College and almost two years at Mezz Entertainment, Stephen was looking for a unique and simple way to present his work.

Site Goals

For Stephen, he was very open about design, styling, and color choices. But, he did have a few requirements for the site:

Site must be minimalist, simple, and visual based
Find unique and organized ways to present a large amount of visual work
All videos must autoplay upon arrival to the site

Pages

For Stephen’s site, Wordpress was the best option. I chose the “Twenty-Seventeen” template as the starting point. Right off the bat, the site autoplays his ‘Reel’ as a header video on the home page. I used Paralax Scrolling to showcase additional photography and to move smoothly through each of the menu items.
