About Me

I’m Emma Frisbie

A multimedia jack of all trades

My Story

From a young age, I knew I was meant for a creative field - deciding on which one was the hard part. In most cases, being indecisive isn’t a desired trait. I struggle making even the smallest decisions like what I should cook for dinner or what I should wear to class. But, when it came to content creation, my indecisiveness became my biggest strength. Instead of focusing on one skill, industry, or craft, I learned them all. I simply could not bear the thought of limiting myself to just one.

So here I am, a self-proclaimed jack of all trades and multimedia creator who dabbles in just about everything and who is willing to learn just about anything. I enjoy capturing the joys of life through photo and video, designing clean and effective websites, creating flashy motion graphics, and thoroughly researching user behaviors, and everything in between - always looking to learn and create more. If you can think it, I can create it.

Where I’m at now

I’m currently the Digital Content Coordinator at Empire State Development, I LOVE NY, where I assist with the management and upkeep of the website, ILOVENY.com. I’m a graduate of Quinnipiac University earning an MS in Interactive Media & Communications and a BA in Media Studies, minoring in Film & Television and Spanish. During my time at Quinnipiac, I quickly found my passion my creating and exploring new things.

Throughout my experiences, I’ve been a part of many different environments and industries, slowly discovering my passions and motivations. From working in Digital Media for a music management company to being a Production Assistant at Quinnipiac’s School of Communications to Social Media Manager for Quinnipiac Athletics, I learned that my skills are flexible and suited for any industry, project, or challenge.
